ABOUT ASHLEY

Ashley is a fellow woman in recovery. Having spent ten years suspended in addiction, Ashley transformed her life through finding purpose and direction. She has dedicated her work to helping others in finding their path and freedom from “stuckness” whether it be addiction, lack of motivation or dealing with life’s challenges.

Ashley studied women’s issues at San Diego State University, followed by a special certification in addiction (AODS). Ashley completed her masters in Professional Counseling (PCCI) from Grand Canyon University. She is also a registered CADAC-I with CCAPP and has worked in the substance use field for six years focusing on treating trauma.

Ashley started breathwork and pranayama work in 2017 when she traveled to Bali for a 200 hour yoga training. Upon completion, she returned to San Diego where she worked as a counselor and program manager at a women’s residential treatment center focused on addiction. The following year, she dove even deeper into breathwork through David Elliot’s extensive training courses. She trained in Encinitas, CA and Pasadena while practicing in Carlsbad, CA. Now, she is backed by an MS in Professional Counseling and specializes in breathwork, trauma and addiction counseling.

Initially, Ashley took a traditional pathway in the addiction and therapy world by immersing herself and completing a Masters in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in addiction. In addition to this, she also received a specialty certification in Alcohol and Other Drug Substances (AODS) accredited by CCAPP in 2018. Ashley took an introspective approach when she started studying the art form known as “pranayama”, an ancient form of breathwork targeted at releasing trauma. health into a private practice. She now continues to venture out to combine effective concepts to bring clients the best quality of care.
